These design concepts illustrate a creative response to opportunities identified during research into extending product lifespan as a means of reducing waste.
The focus of this project was around maintenance and repair, specifically enabling consumers to undertake their maintenance and repair tasks themselves.
Each concept highlights an issue faced by consumers/users through a proposed solution. These design concepts are not intended as a realistic proposition, more to highlight the issues using design as the communication medium.
Each illustrated design concept is left deliberately under-resolved to highlight the conceptual nature of the proposal and rendered in a pale monochrome to reinforce the ethereal nature of the work.
