I’m a Principal Lecturer in Design at Sheffield Institute of Arts at Sheffield Hallam University, Regional and Global Engagement Lead for the Art & Design Department and a member of the Department Leadership Team. I am a product designer and design researcher with an interest in critical design and designing for extended product lifespan.

I have worked as a commercial industrial designer in consultancy on a diverse range of projects including industrial, commercial and consumer products. I have been course leader and subject group leader for product design degree programmes and taught on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. I am currently an external examiner at Southampton Solent University and Nottingham Trent University.
